Vor Biopharma, Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on developing a novel therapy for autoimmune diseases. In June 2025, Vor Bio licensed telitacicept from RemeGen Co., Ltd., gaining exclusive rights to develop and commercialize it outside the Greater China region (mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan). RemeGen retains rights within Greater China. Telitacicept is approved in China for treating systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis (RA), and generalized myasthenia gravis (gMG). Two Biologics License Applications (BLAs) for telitacicept are pending in China for Sjögren's disease (SjD) and IgA nephropathy (IgAN). Vor Bio is conducting a global Phase 3 clinical trial for gMG across the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia, aiming for potential approval in the United States, Europe, and Japan. A global Phase 3 clinical trial for SjD was initiated, with the first patient dosed in March 2026, and is enrolling patients at clinical sites in the United States, Europe, South America, and Asia to support potential approval in the United States, Europe, and Japan. Telitacicept is a fusion protein designed to treat autoimmune diseases. It combines the extracellular domain of the human transmembrane activator and calcium modulator and cyclophilin ligand interactor (TACI) receptor with the fragment crystallizable (Fc) domain of human immunoglobulin G (IgG). Telitacicept targets B cell lymphocyte stimulator (BLyS, also known as BAFF) and a proliferation inducing ligand (APRIL), which are critical for B lymphocyte development, thereby reducing B cell-mediated autoimmune responses. Vor Bio's strategy is to become a leading global company in autoimmune therapeutics, with a near-term goal of regulatory approval for telitacicept in the United States, Europe, and Japan for gMG and SjD.
