This conversion established a regulatory mechanism called the "Closed Block," which includes certain in-force participating insurance and annuity products and corresponding assets used for benefit payments and policyholder dividends on these products, along with related assets and liabilities. The company's principal operations consist of PGIM (its global investment management business), U.S. Businesses (comprising Retirement Strategies, Group Insurance, and Individual Life businesses), International Businesses, the Closed Block division, and Corporate and Other operations.
