XTRA-GOLD RESOURCES CORP

Xtra-Gold is engaged in the exploration of gold properties exclusively in Ghana, West Africa. The company searches for mineral deposits, resources, and reserves that can be economically and legally extracted. Its exploration activities include reviewing existing data, establishing grids, geological mapping, geophysical surveying, trenching, pitting to test anomalous soil samples, and reverse circulation (RC) and/or diamond drilling to test targets. If successful, infill drilling follows to define a mineral resource and potentially a mineral reserve. Xtra-Gold's mining portfolio totals 225.87 square kilometers, or 55,873 acres, across five projects: Kibi (33.65 square kilometers), Banso (51.67 square kilometers), Muoso (55.28 square kilometers), Kwabeng (44.76 square kilometers), and Pameng (40.51 square kilometers). These interests are held by its Ghanaian subsidiary, XG Mining, through mining leases granted by the Government of Ghana. The total mining lease areas, approximately 226 square kilometers, are located at the northern end of the Kibi Gold Belt, one of Ghana's four main greenstone belts. In 2025, exploration activities focused on the Kibi Gold Project (Apapam Mining Lease). On November 30, 2012, the company changed its jurisdiction of incorporation from Nevada to the British Virgin Islands (BVI).
