Whirlpool Corporation manufactures and markets home appliances globally, founded in 1911 and incorporated in Delaware in 1955. The company manufactures products in four countries and markets them in nearly every country worldwide. In 2025, Whirlpool had approximately $16 billion in annual net sales and 41,000 employees. Whirlpool operates through three segments: Major Domestic Appliances (MDA) North America, MDA Latin America, and Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) Global. As of December 31, 2025, operations previously reported within the MDA Asia segment are no longer reported as a segment due to the deconsolidation of Whirlpool India. The MDA Europe segment was deconsolidated as of April 1, 2024, and its results are presented through the first quarter of 2024. In 2024, Whirlpool contributed its European major domestic appliance business into a newly formed company with Arcelik and sold its Middle East and North Africa business to Arcelik.
