Weyco Group, Inc. designs, markets, and distributes quality and innovative footwear primarily for men, but also for women and children. The company, incorporated in Wisconsin in 1906 as Weyenberg Shoe Manufacturing Company and renamed Weyco Group, Inc. on April 25, 1990, operates under well-recognized brand names including Florsheim, Nunn Bush, Stacy Adams, and BOGS. Its products mainly consist of mid-priced leather dress shoes, casual footwear made from man-made materials and leather, and outdoor boots, shoes, and sandals. These are available in a broad range of sizes and widths, primarily for the general American population. Weyco Group sources finished shoes from over 80 outside suppliers, predominantly located in China and India, and to a lesser extent, in Cambodia, Vietnam, and the Dominican Republic. Almost all foreign-sourced purchases are denominated in U.S. dollars. In 2025, the two largest suppliers, both in China, each accounted for more than 10% of total inventory purchases. The company has experienced upward cost pressures in recent years due to higher freight, labor, and material costs, along with incremental tariffs imposed by the U.S. government in 2025 on goods from China. The business is divided into two reportable segments: the North American wholesale segment ("Wholesale") and the North American retail segment ("Retail"). Additionally, the company has wholesale and retail operations in Australia and South Africa, collectively known as "Florsheim Australia." Operations in the Asia-Pacific region under Florsheim Australia were wound down in 2024. Sales from the Wholesale segment, which include both wholesale sales and worldwide licensing revenues, represented 78% of total net sales in 2025 and 79% in 2024.
