Vulcan Materials Company is primarily a U.S.-based company and is the largest supplier of construction aggregates in the nation, mainly providing crushed stone, sand, and gravel. The company is also a major producer of aggregates-intensive downstream products, including asphalt mix and ready-mixed concrete. These materials are delivered by trucks, ships, barges, and trains, and are used for building homes, offices, data centers, places of worship, schools, hospitals, factories, and vital infrastructure such as highways, bridges, roads, ports, harbors, water systems, campuses, dams, airports, and rail networks. As of December 31, 2025, Vulcan Materials Company operated 425 active aggregates facilities. The company also serves customers through 71 asphalt facilities and 76 concrete facilities located in Alabama, Arizona, California, Maryland, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and Washington D.C. Production and sales are currently halted at its Calica operations in Mexico and Puerto Cortés operations in Honduras. In 2025, the top ten revenue-producing states accounted for 90% of the company's revenues, with the top five accounting for 63%. The top ten states by revenue in 2025 were California, Texas, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida, Alabama, South Carolina, and Arizona.
