Unit Corporation

Unit Corporation was founded in 1963 as an oil and natural gas contract drilling company and has expanded to include exploration and production operations and mid-stream investments. The company manages its operations through three main business segments. The Oil and Natural Gas segment, operated by its subsidiary Unit Petroleum Company, focuses on producing, developing, and acquiring oil and natural gas properties for the company. The Contract Drilling segment, carried out by its subsidiary Unit Drilling Company, provides onshore oil and natural gas well drilling services for third parties and for the company's own oil and natural gas segment. The Mid-Stream segment, operated by Superior Pipeline Company, L.L.C. (and its subsidiaries), of which Unit Corporation owns 50%, is involved in buying, selling, gathering, processing, and treating natural gas and natural gas liquids (NGLs) for third parties and for the company's own use.
