The "Other" segment includes homebuilding operations in Raleigh, NC, and mortgage operations through a joint venture, Homeowners Mortgage, LLC. Under its land-light model, UHG typically acquires finished lots through lot option contracts from third-party and related-party land developers or land bank partners.
