UGI Corporation is a holding company that, through its subsidiaries and affiliates, distributes, stores, transports, and markets energy products and related services. In the U.S., UGI owns and operates natural gas and electric distribution utilities, energy marketing (including RNG), midstream infrastructure, storage, natural gas gathering and processing, natural gas production, and energy services businesses, as well as a retail propane marketing and distribution business. In Europe, UGI markets and distributes propane and other LPG, and markets other energy products and services. The company operates principally in four business segments: Utilities, Midstream & Marketing, UGI International, and AmeriGas Propane. The Utilities segment includes the regulated natural gas and electric distribution businesses of UGI Utilities and the regulated natural gas distribution business of Mountaineer. PA Gas Utility serves customers in eastern and central Pennsylvania and parts of one Maryland county. Mountaineer serves customers in West Virginia. Electric Utility serves customers in parts of Luzerne and Wyoming counties in northeastern Pennsylvania. These utilities are regulated by the PAPUC, FERC, MDPSC, and WVPSC. The Midstream & Marketing segment, operated by Energy Services, conducts energy marketing, including RNG, in the Mid-Atlantic region of the United States. It owns and operates natural gas liquefaction, storage, and vaporization facilities, and propane-air mixing assets. This segment also manages natural gas pipeline and storage contracts and develops, owns, and operates pipelines, gathering infrastructure, and gas storage facilities in the Marcellus and Utica Shale regions of Pennsylvania, eastern Ohio, and the panhandle of West Virginia. Additionally, it develops, owns, and operates RNG production facilities. Energy Services' storage, LNG, and portions of its midstream transmission operations are regulated by FERC.
