CVR PARTNERS, LP

CVR Partners, LP is a Delaware limited partnership formed in 2011 by CVR Energy, Inc. The Partnership produces and distributes nitrogen fertilizer products, primarily urea ammonium nitrate ("UAN") and ammonia, which farmers use to improve crop yield and quality, mainly for corn and wheat. CVR Partners operates two manufacturing facilities in the United States of America. The Coffeyville Facility, located in Coffeyville, Kansas, is operated by its wholly owned subsidiary, Coffeyville Resources Nitrogen Fertilizers, LLC. This facility includes a gasifier complex with a capacity of 89 million standard cubic feet per day of hydrogen, a 1,300 ton per day capacity ammonia unit, and a 3,100 ton per day capacity UAN unit. The East Dubuque Facility, located in East Dubuque, Illinois, is operated by its wholly owned subsidiary, East Dubuque Nitrogen Fertilizers, LLC. Both facilities manufacture ammonia and can further upgrade it into other nitrogen fertilizer products, principally UAN. The Partnership sells its products on a wholesale basis. CVR Partners' common units began trading on the New York Stock Exchange ("NYSE") under the symbol "UAN" in April 2011.
