TC Energy Corporation operates as an energy infrastructure company across Canada, the United States, and Mexico. It builds and operates a network of natural gas pipelines totaling 94,171 kilometers, which are used to transport natural gas from supply basins to various end-users including local distribution companies, power generation plants, industrial facilities, interconnecting pipelines, LNG export terminals, and other businesses. TC Energy also manages regulated natural gas storage facilities with a combined working gas capacity of 532 billion cubic feet. Furthermore, the company owns or holds interests in power generation facilities with an approximate capacity of 4,650 megawatts. It also owns and operates non-regulated natural gas storage facilities in Alberta, Ontario, Québec, and New Brunswick, with a capacity of approximately 118 billion cubic feet. The company was founded in 1951 as TransCanada Corporation and adopted its current name, TC Energy Corporation, in May 2019. Its headquarters are located in Calgary, Canada.
