In April 2026, Transcat acquired SCM Metrology and Laboratories S. A. (SCM), a privately held calibration services provider based in Costa Rica. Through its Service segment, Transcat offers calibration, repair, inspection, analytical qualifications, preventative maintenance, consulting, and other related services. A majority of these services are processed using the company's proprietary asset management system, CalTrak®, and its online customer portal, C3®.
