Transportation and Logistics Systems, Inc. is a publicly-traded holding company. As of February 26, 2025, its common stock resumed trading on the OTC PINK market, having been downgraded from OTC PINK to the OTC Expert Market on July 17, 2024. The company became effective on the OTCID tier in July 2025. Until February 2024, the company's subsidiaries provided asset-based logistics and transportation services, specializing in ecommerce fulfillment, last mile deliveries, two-person home delivery, mid-mile, and long-haul services. These operations included several warehouse locations in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. The company and its subsidiaries ceased all remaining operations as of mid-February 2024. On December 1, 2023, former subsidiaries TLSS-FC, Inc. and Freight Connections, Inc. filed voluntary bankruptcy petitions under Chapter 7 in New Jersey. On February 27, 2024, Cougar Express filed a voluntary Chapter 7 bankruptcy petition in New York, assigning its assets to a Trustee for liquidation. Other subsidiaries, including JFK Cartage, TLSSA, TLSS Ops, Shyp CX, TLSS-CE, and TLSS-STI, also ceased operations since mid-February 2024, though none of these have filed for bankruptcy. TLSSA, a wholly-owned subsidiary formed on November 16, 2020, acquired Cougar Express on March 24, 2021. Cougar Express was a New York-based full-service logistics provider specializing in pickup, warehousing, and delivery services in the New York City tri-state area. On June 19, 2023, TLSSA transferred Cougar Express shares to TLSS-CE.
