Tectonic Therapeutic, Inc. is a clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on discovering and developing therapeutic proteins and antibodies that modulate G-protein coupled receptors ("GPCRs"). The company has developed a proprietary technology platform called GEODe™ (GPCRs Engineered for Optimal Discovery) to address challenges in discovering biologics that can modulate GPCRs. More than 30% of all approved drugs target GPCRs, though most are small molecules and target a limited number of GPCR subfamilies. Tectonic believes biologics could offer advantages over small molecules for this class of targets in many situations.
