Tidewater Inc. provides marine and transportation services to the global offshore energy industry, a business it has conducted since its incorporation in 1956. The company operates a large, diversified fleet of 208 offshore service vessels (OSV) and related support vessels, serving customers in over 30 countries as of December 31, 2025. Tidewater manages its operations through five geographically aligned reporting segments: Americas, Asia Pacific, Middle East, Europe/Mediterranean, and West Africa. Each segment is overseen by a managing director who reports to the Chief Executive Officer. The company conducts business through domestic and international subsidiaries, and through joint ventures, which may or may not be controlled by Tidewater, often to meet local ownership or content requirements. Tidewater's vessels and associated services support all phases of offshore crude oil and natural gas exploration, field development, production, and maintenance, as well as windfarm development and maintenance activities. Service offerings include towing and anchor handling for mobile offshore drilling units; transportation of supplies and personnel for drilling, workover, production, and field abandonment, dismantlement, and restoration operations; offshore construction, seismic, and subsea support; and specialized services such as pipe laying, cable laying, and geotechnical survey support for windfarm construction.
