Kirkland's, Inc. is a specialty retailer of home décor and furnishings in the United States. As of February 1, 2025, the company operated 317 stores across 35 states and an e-commerce website, www.kirklands.com, under the Kirkland's Home brand. Founded in 1966, the company offers customers a curated, affordable selection of home décor and furnishings, along with design ideas. On October 21, 2024, Kirkland's, Inc. entered into a strategic partnership with Beyond, Inc. This partnership included a $17 million term loan credit agreement, an $8 million subscription agreement, a seven-year collaboration agreement, and a trademark license agreement. The $17 million proceeds from the term loan credit agreement, consisting of an $8.5 million non-convertible term loan and an $8.5 million convertible term loan, were used to repay the existing $12.0 million "first-in, last-out" asset-based delayed-draw term loan, including prepayment fees and transaction expenses, and to reduce borrowings under the existing revolving credit facility. Under the Trademark License Agreement, Kirkland's, Inc. holds the exclusive license to operate small format, neighborhood brick-and-mortar stores and "Shops-within-a-Shop" locations using Beyond-owned trademarks, including Bed Bath & Beyond, Buy Buy Baby, and Overstock. The company may also sell Bed Bath & Beyond branded merchandise in its existing Kirkland's Home stores.
