Southwest Gas Holdings, Inc. is a holding company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company owns all common stock of Southwest Gas. Until the Centuri IPO on April 22, 2024, it also owned all common stock of Centuri. The company operated two reportable segments until August 2025: the Natural Gas Distribution segment (Southwest Gas) and the Utility Infrastructure Services segment (Centuri). After Centuri's deconsolidation in August 2025, the business consists solely of the Natural Gas Distribution segment. Southwest Gas, incorporated in California, is the company's wholly-owned operating subsidiary. Through Southwest Gas, the company purchases, distributes, and transports natural gas to over two million customers across Arizona, Nevada, and California. Southwest Gas provides regulated natural gas delivery services for residential heating, cooking, and other household needs, as well as for commercial and industrial customers. The company invests in infrastructure to support customer demand from population growth and economic development, and to ensure safe and reliable system operation through integrity management programs. Southwest Gas's public utility rates, practices, facilities, and service territories are subject to regulatory oversight. The Natural Gas Distribution segment's results are higher during winter periods due to seasonality in its regulatory rate structures.
