STRATA Skin Sciences, Inc. is a medical technology company that develops, commercializes, and markets innovative products for treating dermatologic conditions. The company's product portfolio includes the XTRAC® line of excimer lasers and VTRAC® lamp systems, which are used to treat psoriasis, vitiligo, and other skin conditions. Additionally, STRATA Skin Sciences offers the TheraClear® X Acne Therapy System for the treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory, comedonal, and pustular acne. The Pharos device is no longer available. The company was incorporated in New York in 1989 as Electro-Optical Sciences, Inc., reincorporated in Delaware in 1997, and changed its name to MELA Sciences, Inc. in April 2010.
