Seritage Growth Properties

Seritage Growth Properties (NYSE: SRG) was formed as a Maryland real estate investment trust on June 3, 2015. It operated as a fully integrated, self-administered and self-managed real estate investment trust from its formation through December 31, 2021. On March 31, 2022, Seritage revoked its REIT election and became a taxable C Corporation effective January 1, 2022. The company's assets are held and its operations are primarily conducted through Seritage Growth Properties, L.P., a Delaware limited partnership, where Seritage acts as the sole general partner. Prior to adopting its Plan of Sale, Seritage was primarily involved in owning, developing, redeveloping, managing, selling, and leasing various retail and mixed-use properties across the United States. As of December 31, 2025, Seritage's portfolio included interests in 10 properties, totaling approximately 0.8 million square feet of gross leasable area or build-to-suit leased area, and 156 acres of land. This portfolio consists of five consolidated properties with approximately 0.3 million square feet of GLA and 71 acres, and five unconsolidated entities with approximately 0.5 million square feet of GLA and 85 acres. The company's current mission is to maximize shareholder value in line with its Plan of Sale.
