SR Bancorp, Inc. is a Maryland-chartered holding company whose primary business is owning the outstanding common stock of Somerset Regal Bank. SR Bancorp does not own or lease property directly but uses the premises and equipment of Somerset Regal Bank, paying rental fees under an expense allocation agreement. As of June 30, 2025, SR Bancorp reported total assets of $1.08 billion, deposits of $846.0 million, and total stockholders' equity of $193.8 million. The company became the holding company for Somerset Regal Bank following the mutual-to-stock conversion of Somerset Savings Bank, SLA. Somerset Regal Bank was established on September 19, 2023, through the merger of Somerset Bank and Regal Bank, both New Jersey-chartered institutions. The Bank operates 14 branches across Essex, Hunterdon, Hudson, Livingston, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset, and Union counties in northern and central New Jersey. It provides a range of deposit and loan products to individuals and small businesses, primarily within its main market. On September 19, 2023, Somerset Savings Bank, SLA transitioned from a mutual to a stock organization, and SR Bancorp completed its stock offering.
