Spire Global, Inc.

Spire Global, Inc., founded in August 2012, is a global provider of space-based data and analytics. The company offers unique datasets and insights about Earth, collected through its proprietary constellation of multi-purpose nanosatellites. Spire Global designs, manufactures, integrates, and operates its own satellites and ground stations to deliver end-to-end solutions. The company is headquartered in Vienna, Virginia, and has wholly owned operating subsidiaries in the U.S., United Kingdom, Luxembourg, Singapore, Germany, and Canada. On August 16, 2021, Spire Global Subsidiary, Inc. (formerly Spire Global, Inc.) merged with NavSight Holdings, Inc., which then changed its name to Spire Global, Inc. On April 25, 2025, Spire Global completed the sale of its maritime business to Kpler Holding SA for approximately $238.9 million. This sale did not include any part of the company's satellite network or operations. A portion of the proceeds from this transaction was used to settle a dispute with L3Harris Technologies, Inc. and to repay outstanding obligations under financing agreements, including the Blue Torch Finance LLC and Strategic Innovation Fund loan facilities.
