We are a global supplier of equipment, software, and services for industries including printed circuit board ("PCB"), substrate manufacturing, glass, and photovoltaics, focusing on the highest end of these markets in terms of technology and performance. Founded in 1864 in Freudenstadt, Germany, as an iron foundry, we are a fifth-generation family-controlled business with over 160 years of operations. We have developed machines for the electronics industry since the 1960s and photovoltaics solutions since the early 2000s. Our modular product portfolio includes machinery for manufacturing high-end PCB equipment and semiconductor packaging devices, utilizing flexible circuit fabrication techniques such as subtractive, semi-additive processes ("SAP"), and modified semi-additive processes ("mSAP"). We produce our products at two manufacturing sites, one in Germany and one in China. We maintain an extensive service and sales network across six centers in the US, Europe, and Asia. In South Korea, we collaborate with SCHMID Avaco Korea, Co. Ltd., accounted for using the equity method. We provide customer service including machinery and software upgrades, spare parts, logistics, customer training in multiple languages, on-site management, maintenance contracts, and project management.
