Shore Bancshares, Inc. is a bank holding company incorporated in Maryland on March 15, 1996, and is the parent company of Shore United Bank, N.A. The Company is the largest independent financial holding company headquartered on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. It operates primarily through Shore United Bank, N.A., which provides consumer and commercial banking products and services, secondary mortgage lending, trust, wealth management, and financial planning services. The Company also offered title services through its wholly-owned subsidiary, Mid-Maryland Title Company, Inc., which engaged in residential and commercial real estate settlement activities and offered title insurance policies, title search, and lien satisfaction services. Mid-Maryland Title Company, Inc. ceased conducting real estate closings effective March 31, 2025. Shore United Bank, N.A., a national banking association chartered under U.S. laws with origins tracing back to 1876, operates 40 full-service branches and 10 loan production and administration offices. It offers a full range of commercial and consumer banking products and services to individuals, businesses, and other organizations in Maryland, Delaware, and Virginia. The Bank's deposits are insured by the FDIC up to applicable legal limits. Services for businesses include commercial checking, savings, certificates of deposit, and overnight investment sweep accounts. The Bank provides various commercial lending options, such as secured and unsecured loans, working capital loans, lines of credit, term loans, accounts receivable financing, real estate acquisition and development loans, construction loans, and letters of credit.
