Southside Bancshares, Inc., incorporated in Texas in 1982, is a bank holding company for Southside Bank, a Texas state bank formed in 1960 and headquartered in Tyler, Texas. The company operates through 53 branches, with 12 located in grocery stores, along with offices for wealth management, trust services, loan production, brokerage, or other financial services. Southside Bancshares is a community-focused financial institution providing a full range of services to individuals, businesses, municipal entities, and nonprofit organizations. These services include consumer loans such as 1-4 family residential, home equity, home improvement, and automobile loans, as well as other consumer-related loans. Commercial loan services encompass short-term working capital loans, short- and medium-term loans for equipment or business expansion, commercial real estate loans, and municipal loans. The company also offers construction loans for 1-4 family residential and commercial real estate. Deposit accounts include savings, money market, interest and noninterest bearing checking accounts, and CDs, with various interest rates and terms. Trust and wealth management services primarily serve individuals, and to a lesser extent partnerships and corporations, offering investment management, administration of irrevocable, revocable, and testamentary trusts, estate administration, and custodian services. At December 31, 2025, total assets were $8.51 billion, total loans were $4.82 billion, total deposits were $6.87 billion, and total equity was $847.6 million. Net income was $69.2 million for the year ended December 31, 2025, and $88.5 million for 2024. Diluted earnings per common share were $2.29 for 2025 and $2.91 for 2024. The company has paid a cash dividend to shareholders every year since 1970.
