Rocket One Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing new generation therapies for unmet medical needs. The company focuses on three primary development programs: HT-001, a topical formulation for treating side effects from cancer drugs; HT-KIT, a treatment for mast-cell derived cancers and anaphylaxis; and HT-ALZ, a treatment and/or prevention for Alzheimer's or other neuroinflammatory diseases. Additionally, Rocket One Inc. is developing assets for atopic dermatitis (BioLexa), asthma and allergies using inhalational administration (HT-004), and obesity and related conditions (HT-VA). The primary development, HT-001, is a topical formulation intended to treat dermatological side effects from epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) inhibitors and potentially other cancer drugs. On February 1, 2020, Rocket One Inc. licensed patent rights for HT-001 from The George Washington University. HT-001 is designed to address rash and skin disorders associated with tyrosine kinase EGFR inhibitor therapy, which are often dose-limiting toxicities in cancer treatments like non-small cell lung cancer, pancreatic cancer, breast cancer, and colon cancer. In November 2022, the company submitted an Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for HT-001 as a concomitant therapy with EGFR inhibitors for a Phase 2a clinical trial. The FDA approved this clinical study on December 28, 2022.
