RPC provides a wide array of specialized oilfield services and equipment primarily to independent and major oil and gas companies. These services support the exploration, production, and development of oil and gas properties across the United States, including the southwest, mid-continent, Gulf of America, Rocky Mountain, and Appalachian regions, as well as in selected international markets. RPC operates as a holding company for Cudd Energy Services, Cudd Pressure Control, Thru Tubing Solutions, Pintail Completions, and Patterson Services. Centralized support services and regulatory compliance are classified as Corporate. The company is organized into two operating segments: Technical Services and Support Services. As of December 31, 2025, RPC had 2,893 employees. Technical Services encompass well-site services that involve equipment and personnel. This segment generates revenue from equipment, personnel operating the equipment, and materials used. These services include pressure pumping, wireline, downhole tools, coiled tubing, and cementing. They are high capital and personnel intensive businesses, with demand influenced by customer decisions to invest capital in new well production, improving existing well flows, or addressing well control issues. Customers include major multi-national and independent oil and gas producers and selected nationally owned oil companies. Technical Services are provided in all of RPC's principal geographical markets. Support Services involve services and equipment offered off the well site.
