Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. is a leader in the vacation industry, owning and operating three global cruise vacation brands: Royal Caribbean, Celebrity Cruises, and Silversea. The company also holds a 50% joint venture interest in TUI Cruises GmbH, which operates the German brands TUI Cruises and Hapag-Lloyd Cruises. As of December 31, 2025, the combined fleet of these Global Brands and Partner Brands consists of 69 ships with an aggregate capacity of approximately 179,720 berths. These ships offer worldwide itineraries, calling on more than 1,000 destinations across all seven continents. The company also owns a growing portfolio of private land-based destinations, including its Perfect Day and Royal Beach Club collections. Founded in 1968 as a partnership, the current parent corporation, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd., was incorporated on July 23, 1985, in the Republic of Liberia. Each Global Brand has its own marketing style, ships, and crews, but all focus on the sale and provision of cruise vacations.
