Ready Capital Corp

Ready Capital Corporation is a multi-strategy real estate finance company. It originates, acquires, finances, and services small and medium-sized enterprise (LMM) loans, Small Business Administration (SBA) loans, construction loans, U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) loans, and to a lesser extent, mortgage-backed securities (MBS) primarily backed by LMM loans or other real estate-related investments. The company's loans generally have original principal amounts up to $40 million and are used by businesses to purchase operational real estate or by investors acquiring multi-family, office, retail, mixed-use, or warehouse properties. The company aims to provide attractive risk-adjusted returns to its stockholders. Ready Capital Corporation completed the sale of its Residential Mortgage Banking segment effective June 30, 2025. The company reports its activities in two operating segments. The LMM Commercial Real Estate segment originates LMM loans across the full life-cycle of an LMM property, including construction, bridge, stabilized, and agency loan origination channels through its subsidiary, ReadyCap Commercial, LLC. These originated loans are generally held-for-investment or placed into securitization structures. This segment also originates and services multi-family loan products under the Freddie Mac Small Balance Loan program, which are held for sale and subsequently sold to Freddie Mac.
