Post Holdings, Inc. is a consumer packaged goods holding company with businesses in the center-of-the-store, refrigerated, foodservice, and food ingredient categories. The company is a Missouri corporation, incorporated on September 22, 2011. Post completed its legal separation via a tax-free spin-off from its former parent company on February 3, 2012, and its common stock began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol "POST" on February 6, 2012. Post operates in four reportable segments. The Post Consumer Brands segment includes branded and private label ready-to-eat (RTE) cereals and granola from Post Foods, LLC, MOM Brands Company, LLC (acquired May 2015), Weetabix North America (acquired July 2017), and certain private label RTE cereal operations (acquired June 2021). This segment also includes Peter Pan brand peanut butter (acquired January 2021), private label peanut butter and other nut butters, pasta, and dried fruit and nut products from 8th Avenue Food & Provisions, Inc., as well as branded and private label pet food (acquired April 2023 and December 2023). The Weetabix segment includes Weetabix Limited (acquired July 2017), which produces and distributes branded and private label RTE cereal, hot cereals, and other cereal-based food products and muesli primarily outside of North America. This segment also includes Lacka Foods Limited (acquired April 2022), which distributes and markets UFIT brand protein-based shakes primarily in the United Kingdom, and Deeside Cereals I Ltd (acquired December 2023), which produces private label cereals. The Foodservice segment primarily includes egg and potato products in the foodservice and food ingredient channels.
