Insulet Corporation develops, manufactures, and sells continuous insulin delivery systems for individuals with insulin-dependent diabetes. The company's Omnipod platform features three main products: the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery System, the Omnipod DASH Insulin Management System, and the Classic Omnipod Insulin Management System. Beyond its diabetes care products, Insulet also produces pods for Amgen. These pods are integrated into Amgen's Neulasta Onpro kit, which is a delivery system for Amgen's Neulasta medication, designed to help reduce infection risk following intense chemotherapy. Diabetes is a chronic, life-threatening condition where the body cannot produce or effectively use insulin, leading to unregulated blood glucose levels.
