Foundry is used as a central operating system for individual institutions and entire industries. Apollo is a cloud-agnostic control layer that coordinates new features, security updates, and platform configurations, allowing customers to run software in virtually any environment. In 2023, Palantir began deploying AIP for commercial and government customers, enabling them to leverage AI breakthroughs by combining existing software platforms with generative AI models, including LLMs.
