Medium-duty trucks have a GVW from 19,500 to 33,000 lbs (Class 6 to 7) in North America, while in Europe, light- and medium-duty trucks range between 6 and 16 metric tonnes. These trucks are available in conventional (engine in front of cab) or cab-over-engine (COE) configurations. The Parts segment distributes aftermarket parts for trucks and related commercial vehicles. The Financial Services segment offers finance and leasing products and services to customers and dealers, primarily for PACCAR products and associated equipment. PACCAR's trucks are sold under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF brands. These trucks are manufactured in three plants in the United States, three in Europe, and one each in Australia, Brasil, Canada, and Mexico, and are used globally for hauling commercial and consumer goods. The company also designs and manufactures diesel engines, mainly for its own trucks, at facilities in Columbus, Mississippi; Eindhoven, the Netherlands; and Ponta Grossa, Brasil. PACCAR competes in the North American Class 8 market primarily with Kenworth and Peterbilt conventional models, assembled in Chillicothe, Ohio; Denton, Texas; Renton, Washington; Mexicali, Mexico; and Ste. Therese, Canada. The company also competes in the North American Class 6 to 7 markets with Kenworth and Peterbilt conventional models, assembled in Ste. Therese, Canada; Chillicothe, Ohio; Denton, Texas; and Mexicali, Mexico.
