One World Products, Inc.

One World Products, Inc. is engaged in the business of OWP Ventures, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, One World Pharma, S.A.S. (OWP SAS), a Colombian company. The company became operational in this business following a merger with OWP Ventures, Inc. on February 21, 2019. Prior to this, One World Products, Inc. was a public "shell" company with nominal assets. On November 23, 2021, the company changed its name from One World Pharma, Inc. to One World Products, Inc. On June 3, 2020, Isiah L. Thomas, III was appointed as Chief Executive Officer and Vice Chairman. In 2021, Mr. Thomas, through ISIAH International, LLC, purchased $3,000,000 of the company's Series B Preferred Stock in installments ending in July 2021. On December 22, 2023, OWP SAS filed for protection under Colombian Law 1116 of 2006, which governs business insolvency proceedings (restructuring and liquidation) in Colombia. These Reorganization Proceedings are similar to Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code, with the company intending to restructure its debts and continue operations.
