Oak Valley Bancorp

Oak Valley Bancorp is a California state-chartered bank holding company that wholly owns Oak Valley Community Bank. The Company was incorporated on May 31, 1990, and began operations in Oakdale, California, on May 28, 1991. Its assets consist of the Bank's capital stock, cash, and income tax benefits receivable. Oak Valley Community Bank, which started operations in May 1991, provides basic banking services to individuals and businesses. The Bank focuses on offering commercial banking services to individuals and small to medium-sized businesses in two primary service areas: the Central Valley and the Eastern Sierras. Its three branches in the Eastern Sierras operate as Eastern Sierra Community Bank, a division of the Bank. The Bank offers business checking and savings accounts for its business customers. It also provides commercial and real estate loans, as well as lines of credit. Real estate loans are generally short-term for both residential and commercial lending. Longer-term real estate loans typically have adjustable interest rates and standard acceleration clauses. Traditional residential mortgages are available to customers through a third party. The Bank is an insured bank under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act and a member of the Federal Reserve, subject to regulation by the California Department of Financial Protection and Innovation, the Federal Deposit Insurance Commission, and the Federal Reserve Board.
