Oceaneering International, Inc. is a global technology company that provides engineered services and products, along with robotic solutions, to the offshore energy, defense, aerospace, and manufacturing industries. Established in 1969 from three diving service companies, Oceaneering has focused on developing and marketing underwater services and products using advanced technology, expanding into autonomous robotics in adjacent markets. The company believes it is one of the world's largest underwater services contractors. For the energy industry, Oceaneering offers remotely operated vehicles, survey and positioning services, specialty subsea hardware, engineering and project management, subsea intervention services (including manned diving), and asset integrity and non-destructive testing services. For the year ended December 31, 2025, foreign operations, primarily in Africa, the United Kingdom, Norway, Brazil, Asia, and Australia, generated approximately 55% of revenue, totaling $1.5 billion. Oceaneering operates through five business segments, divided into two main businesses. The Energy business includes four segments: Subsea Robotics, Manufactured Products, Offshore Projects Group, and Integrity Management & Digital Solutions, serving primarily the oil and gas industry, and to a lesser extent, mobility solutions and offshore renewables. The non-energy business, Aerospace and Defense Technologies, is reported as a single segment. Unallocated Expenses cover corporate administrative costs and expenses for incentive and deferred compensation plans. The company plans to acquire additional assets or businesses to improve market position or expand service and product lines.
