OFA Group, through its wholly owned operating subsidiary, Office for Fine Architecture Limited, provides comprehensive architectural services for commercial and residential buildings. These services include both design and fit-out work. The design service involves consultation with staff and actual design work, providing clients with conceptualized designs, layout plans, detailed drawings, and advice on budgetary considerations, optimal space use, materials, fittings, furniture, appliances, and other items. This process aims to produce a preliminary design plan and quotation. Fit-out works encompass installing protective materials for floors or walls, constructing or installing partition walls, windows and window frames, decorative fittings, furniture or fixtures, plumbing systems, and electrical and wiring works such as switches, power outlets, telephone wiring, and computer outlet covers. The company operates on a traditional project-based model and utilizes technological tools like Houzz, a commercially available software platform with automated visualization capabilities. This platform converts two-dimensional building plans into three-dimensional models and generates design alternatives by applying different materials and equipment options, expediting the design process and aiding client decision-making. The company uses Houzz's standard commercially available features as a regular platform user, which includes basic listing and networking capabilities. The use of such visualization tools is not yet widespread among architectural firms in Hong Kong.
