Nuveen Municipal Credit Income Fund is a closed-ended fixed income mutual fund that invests in the fixed income markets of the United States. Co-managed by Nuveen Fund Advisors LLC and Nuveen Asset Management, LLC, the fund focuses on undervalued municipal securities and other related investments. The income generated from these investments is exempt from regular federal income taxes. The fund targets investment-grade securities rated Baa/BBB or better, with an average maturity of approximately 18 years.
