NW Holdings is a holding company headquartered in Portland, Oregon. It owns NW Natural, SiEnergy Operating, LLC, NW Natural Water Company, LLC, and NW Natural Renewables Holdings, LLC. NW Holdings primarily operates in three reportable business segments: NWN Gas Utility, SiEnergy, and NWN Water. NW Natural, incorporated in Oregon in 1910 and doing business as NW Natural since 1997, distributes natural gas to residential, commercial, and industrial customers in Oregon and southwest Washington. NW Natural and its predecessors have supplied gas service since 1859. Prior to the first quarter of 2025, NW Natural's natural gas distribution activities were reported in the natural gas distribution (NGD) segment, which was renamed to NWN Gas Utility in the first quarter of 2025. SiEnergy owns and operates SiEnergy Holdings, which includes SiEnergy Gas and Terra Transmission, providing gas distribution and transmission to customers in Texas. NWN Water provides regulated water and wastewater services and unregulated wastewater and operations services to customers in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Arizona, and Texas. NWN Renewables is a non-regulated business focused on renewable natural gas activities. NW Holdings and NW Natural also have other investments and business activities not specifically related to the NWN Gas Utility, SiEnergy, and NWN Water segments, which are aggregated and reported as NW Holdings Other.
