NOVA LTD.

Nova Ltd. designs, develops, and produces integrated process control systems for semiconductor manufacturing. The company was incorporated in May 1993 under Israeli law and began operations in October 1993. Nova's shares were listed on the Nasdaq Stock Exchange in April 2000 and on the TASE in June 2002. Until 2008, most products were sold to PEMs like Applied Materials, Inc. and Ebara Corp., which then sold them to semiconductor manufacturers. Since 2008, Nova has shifted its business model to sell substantially all products directly to semiconductor manufacturers, improving gross margins and net profitability. In April 2015, Nova acquired ReVera Inc., a Santa Clara, California-based company developing, manufacturing, and selling stand-alone metrology tools for thin-film and composition measurements in the semiconductor industry. ReVera merged into Nova Measuring Instruments, Inc. on December 31, 2017. On July 25, 2021, the company's legal name changed from Nova Measuring Instruments Ltd. to Nova Ltd., retaining the NVMI ticker symbol. In January 2022, Nova acquired ancosys GmbH, headquartered in Pliezhausen, Germany, a provider of chemical analysis and metrology solutions for advanced semiconductor manufacturing, supporting both frontend and backend processes. ancosys GmbH merged into Nova Measuring Instruments GmbH on June 26, 2023.
