The company initially operated as Regal Rock, Inc., changing its name to Regal Life Concepts, Inc. on December 3, 2007, and then to Regal Group, Inc. on March 31, 2010. It began as a distributor of bamboo wood flooring products, targeting demand in new residential construction and home improvement in North America. This business line has since been phased out. In 2008, the company explored opportunities in the hospitality sector by entering a standstill agreement with Amaravati Inc., a Thailand corporation owning a 50-room spa resort in Chiang Mai, Thailand; however, this project is currently on hold due to geopolitical uncertainty in China. Entrex Carbon Market, Inc. is now focused on acquiring private companies based and operating in China. It provides these acquired companies with administrative, legal, accounting, and marketing support, and plans to infuse capital to further their business plans. The company believes that equity investments in China offer attractive global investment opportunities over the coming four to seven years, specifically targeting growth company acquisitions in China. The local Chinese equity markets are highly concentrated, serving only a small fraction of the local corporate market.
