NovelStem International Corp.

NovelStem International Corp. is a holding company. Its principal assets previously included an approximate 31% equity interest in NewStem Ltd., an Israeli biotech company, and its developed technology, as well as a 50% equity interest in NetCo Partners. The interest in NetCo was sold in May 2025 in a noncash transaction that settled significant company debt from a litigation funding agreement. NewStem was liquidated in October 2025. Currently, the company's principal asset consists of rights to profits from a license held by Yissum Research Development Company, Hebrew University's technology transfer company. NovelStem was incorporated in Florida on January 22, 1993, and changed its name from Hollywood Media Corp. in September 2018. With the purchase of NewStem in 2018, the company expanded its business focus from media to biotechnology. As a significant shareholder in NewStem, NovelStem had the ability to exert significant influence over NewStem's management and operations, leading NewStem to function as a minority operating subsidiary.
