Nobility Homes, Inc., incorporated in Florida in 1967, designs, manufactures, and sells manufactured and modular homes. The company operates through its own retail sales centers located throughout Florida. Additionally, Nobility sells its manufactured homes on a wholesale basis to independent manufactured home retail dealers and manufactured home communities. Nobility offers approximately 100 active models under the trade names "Kingswood," "Richwood," "Tropic Isle," "Regency Manor," and "Tropic Manor." These homes range in size from 464 to 2,650 square feet and include one to five bedrooms. They are available in single-wide widths of 12, 14, and 16 feet (35 to 72 feet long), double-wide widths of 20, 24, 26, 28, and 32 feet (32 to 72 feet long), and triple-wide widths of 42 feet (60 to 72 feet long). Nobility also produces a quad unit with two sections 28 feet wide by 40 to 48 feet long and two sections 28 feet wide by 52 feet long. Floor plans can be built as on-frame modular homes. The company is approved to build A.N.S.I. (American National Standards Institute) Park models less than 400 square feet and exposure D homes. Nobility's homes are primarily sold as unfurnished dwellings ready for permanent occupancy, with interiors designed and color-coordinated in various decors. Retail prices typically range from approximately $90,000 to $250,000, placing most of its homes in the low to medium price range of the industry. The manufacturing plant uses assembly line techniques to produce and assemble floors, sidewalls, end walls, roofs, and interior cabinets for the homes.
