NEW JERSEY RESOURCES CORP

New Jersey Resources Corporation is a New Jersey corporation and a diversified energy services holding company. Its principal business involves distributing natural gas through a regulated utility, investing in and operating clean energy projects, managing natural gas storage and transportation assets, and offering other retail and wholesale energy services. The company operates through four reportable segments. The Natural Gas Distribution segment, primarily New Jersey Natural Gas Company (NJNG), provides regulated natural gas utility service to residential and commercial customers in Burlington, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Ocean, and Sussex counties in New Jersey. NJNG also participates in off-system sales and capacity release markets. The Clean Energy Ventures segment, through NJR Clean Energy Ventures Corporation (NJRCEV), includes results from unregulated capital investments in clean energy projects. The Energy Services segment, via NJR Energy Services Company, LLC (NJRES), manages a portfolio of physical assets including natural gas transportation and storage contracts in the U.S. NJRES also provides unregulated wholesale energy management services to other energy companies and natural gas producers. The Storage and Transportation segment, through NJR Midstream Holdings Corporation, invests in energy-related ventures. This includes wholly-owned subsidiaries Leaf River in southeastern Mississippi and Adelphia in eastern Pennsylvania, and a 50% combined ownership interest in Steckman Ridge in Pennsylvania. Additionally, NJR Home Services Company provides heating, ventilation, and cooling service, sales, and appliance installation, contributing to Home Services and Other operations.
