General Northeast Community Bancorp, Inc. is a Maryland corporation that primarily owns and operates NorthEast Community Bank, a New York State-chartered savings bank. The Company was incorporated in May 2021 and completed its second-step conversion on July 12, 2021. During this conversion, the Company sold 9,784,077 shares of common stock at $10.00 per share, generating gross proceeds of $97.8 million. Existing shares of the former Mid-Tier Holding Company common stock were converted into 1.3400 shares of Company common stock. NorthEast Community Bank, founded in 1934 and headquartered in White Plains, New York, is a community-oriented financial institution. It serves individuals and businesses within its market area through eleven branch offices located in Bronx, Orange, Rockland, and Sullivan Counties in New York, and Essex, Middlesex, and Norfolk Counties in Massachusetts. The Bank also operates three loan production offices in White Plains, New York, New City, New York, and Danvers, Massachusetts. Its principal business involves originating primarily construction loans, and to a lesser extent, commercial and industrial loans, multifamily and mixed-use residential real estate loans, and non-residential real estate loans.
