Myers Industries, Inc. designs, manufactures, and markets a variety of plastic, metal, and rubber products, and is also a distributor of tools, equipment, and supplies. Founded in 1933 and headquartered in Akron, Ohio, the company has grown into an international manufacturing and distribution enterprise. Its stock has been traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol MYE since 1971. The company's products include a broad selection of plastic reusable containers, pallets, small parts bins, bulk shipping containers, storage and organization products, OEM parts, custom plastic products, composite ground protection matting, and consumer fuel containers and tanks for water, fuel, and waste handling. Its plastic bulk containers are designed to replace single-use packaging. Myers Industries is also the largest U.S. distributor of tools, equipment, and supplies for tire, wheel, and under-vehicle service on passenger, heavy truck, and off-road vehicles, and manufactures tire repair and retreading products. As of December 31, 2025, the company has approximately 2,200 employees. It operates fourteen manufacturing facilities and four distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada, along with three distribution branches in Central America. Myers Industries conducts its business through two distinct segments: Material Handling and Distribution.
