MV Oil Trust

MV Oil Trust is a statutory trust that holds a term net profits interest in oil and natural gas properties. The Trust was established in August 2006 by MV Partners, LLC. On January 24, 2007, MV Partners conveyed to the Trust a net profits interest, which grants the Trust the right to receive 80% of the net proceeds from all of MV Partners' interests in oil and natural gas properties as of that date. The Trust does not have any employees. Its business and affairs are managed by The Bank of New York Mellon Trust Company, N.A., acting as the Trustee. Wilmington Trust Company serves as the Delaware Trustee, with minimal rights and duties required by the Delaware Statutory Trust Act. The Trust's offices are located at 601 Travis Street, Floor 16, Houston, Texas 77002. Information regarding the underlying properties, such as production and well counts, major producing areas, customer relationships, competition, marketing, and post-production services, is provided to the Trust by MV Partners. The Trust completed an initial public offering of its units of beneficial interest on January 24, 2007.
