MMEX Resources Corp

MMEX Resources Corp focuses on developing, financing, constructing, and operating clean fuels infrastructure projects. The current management team acquired the company in 2010 through a reverse merger, subsequently changing its name to MMEX Resources Corporation. MMEX implements its projects through special purpose limited liability companies. One such project is Pecos UltraClean Refining, LLC, where MMEX has partnered with Polaris Engineering. This collaboration aims to develop an ultra-clean transportation fuels refinery complex with a capacity of up to 60,000 barrels per day at MMEX's sites in Pecos County, Texas. The planned output is transportation-grade ultra-low sulfur diesel. The Ultra Fuel® configuration is designed to have criteria pollutant emissions approximately 95% lower than a traditional refinery on the US Gulf Coast. MMEX also plans a companion Blue Hydrogen project to convert natural gas to hydrogen for power generation, which would supply hydrogen to the refinery for fuel gas and eliminate CO2 emissions. The Ultra Fuels® configuration, with capital expenditure and technical details finalized in the Front-End Load-2 ("FEL-2") engineering package, uses modular design. This design leverages proximity to Permian Basin fuel markets and crude oil production areas near the company's owned sites. Modular fabrication and shipment to the site are expected to enable an 18-month project completion timeframe and faster implementation. The modular concept, with its reduced footprint and lower emissions, is anticipated to facilitate quicker permitting from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Another project, Trans Permian Energy, LLC, involves planning discussions with a super major oil company. This project aims to develop a Natural Gas to Power Project at MMEX's Pecos County, Texas site, utilizing a portion of the super major's natural gas production and transportation from the Permian Basin in gas turbines and generators in a combined cycle configuration to produce electric power.
