Phase 3 Win Puts Oral Hair-Loss Pill on Track for First FDA Approval in Nearly 30 Years
MANE has more than doubled off its 52-week low of $32.
Summary
Veradermics' Phase 3 Study '304' hit both co-primary endpoints with high statistical significance in 536 men: non-vellus hair count rose 28.6/cm² once-daily and 36.4/cm² twice-daily versus 6.6/cm² on placebo at Month 6 (p<0.0001), and 55.7%/68.7% of treated patients reported improved hair coverage versus 15.0% on placebo. Safety was clean — no treatment-related serious adverse events and no cardiac adverse events of special interest, the key worry for an oral minoxidil product. This is the second registration-directed win after Study '302' in April, giving the company 6-month placebo-controlled data on more than 1,000 men and a credible shot at the first FDA-approved oral pill for pattern hair loss in roughly 30 years. The company hosts a call at 8:00 am ET today to walk through the data. Next data point is Part B of Study '302' (12-month safety) later this year, with the female Study '306' readout expected in the first half of 2027. Note the stock carries heavy insider-selling overhang from August filings, including an $80.4M block at $107.25.
