We are a clinical stage genetic medicine company focused on cardiovascular diseases. We develop therapeutic candidates targeting the genetic causes of conditions such as Friedreich ataxia (FA) cardiomyopathy and plakophilin-2 (PKP2) arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy. Our lead cardiovascular product candidate, LX2006, treats FA cardiomyopathy and is in the SUNRISE-FA Phase 1/2 clinical trial and a Cornell investigator-initiated trial. In October 2025, we reported positive interim clinical data showing an encouraging safety profile and evidence of cardiac and functional benefit. Interim data presented in March 2026 at the American College of Cardiology (ACC) Annual Meeting showed sustained or deepening improvements in cardiac and neurologic measures of FA. In February 2026, we submitted the final registrational trial design and statistical analysis plan for the SUNRISE-FA 2 study to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and expect feedback in the second quarter of 2026, with plans to initiate a registrational study in the first half of 2026. Our second most advanced cardiovascular product candidate, LX2020, targets arrhythmogenic cardiomyopathy (ACM) caused by PKP2 gene mutations (PKP2-ACM). LX2020 is in the HEROIC-PKP2 Phase 1/2 clinical trial. In January 2026, we announced positive interim data from the HEROIC trial, where LX2020 was generally well tolerated, led to robust transduction, increased PKP2 protein expression, and clinically meaningful improvement or stabilization in arrhythmia burden for most participants. We plan to share additional safety and clinical efficacy data for LX2020 in the fourth quarter of 2026, after all high-dose participants complete at least twelve months of follow-up.
