LP is a leading provider of high-performance building solutions for builders, remodelers, and homeowners globally. The company serves the new home construction, repair and remodeling, and outdoor structures markets. LP's principal customers are retailers, wholesalers, and home building and industrial businesses in North America and South America. Founded in 1972, LP is headquartered in Nashville, Tennessee, and as of December 31, 2025, operates more than 20 manufacturing facilities across North and South America. LP conducts business through three operating segments: Siding, Oriented Strand Board (OSB), and Other. In 2025, net sales totaled $2,708 million. The Siding segment generated $1,689 million in net sales, representing 62% of the total. The OSB segment contributed $832 million, or 31% of net sales. The Other segment accounted for $187 million, or 7% of net sales. The Other segment now includes the company's South American operations and other products that are not individually significant. LP believes it is the largest manufacturer of engineered wood siding in North America, with its Siding business offering a broad product portfolio of engineered wood siding, trim, soffit, and fascia.
